Big Dub volunteers and staff are the backbone of the festival and the driving force behind its success. Most shifts are 6-8 hours in length with 2-3 shifts required in order to receive a full deposit refund. The shift lengths & numbers of shifts are determined based on the department you are working with and will be discussed with you if your application is accepted.
All volunteers are required to arrive to shift at least 10 minutes prior to their shift start time, be 100% sober, rested, presentable, properly hydrated, and fed. It is also important to dress appropriately for whatever the weather is.
Deposits will be refunded within 14 days of festival for all volunteers who have completed their obligations.
