Big Dub COVID-19 & Reschedule FAQ

We recently released some information regarding precautions Big Dub Festival is planning to take for its rescheduled dates of September 29th to October 4th. We’ve created an FAQ below to help answer some of the questions you may have about our latest updates:

Q: How do I know what day I can arrive if I already purchased a ticket prior to the reschedule?
A: Your ticket will transfer over the same corresponding day of the week. For example, if you purchased a Wednesday arrival then you would arrive on Wednesday September 30th. If you purchased a Tuesday arrival or upgrade then you may arrive on Tuesday September 29th.

Q: Does there need to be 25 feet distance between tents?
A: No, not for individual tents. That rule is for campsites, which include clusters of friends or people who know one another. You can have your friends all camped together but the next group of friends who you may not know are to be 25 feet apart.

Q: What is your capacity and how does that affect the festival?
A: Capacity may be reduced by up to 50% in comparison to prior years. We expect to operate at a level similar to what we had in 2017. These are not definite answers as the situation is always changing and we may have to reduce by a little more based on state guidelines.

Q: What will happen if too many people have purchased tickets?
A: Anyone who has a ticket is guaranteed entry for the camping area they purchased.

Q: What happens if we elected to transfer our tickets to 2021?
A: You will hear back from us soon! You’ll also receive a ticket to 2021 as soon as we announce the new dates, which will happen immediately following this year’s Big Dub.

Q: How high of a temperature reading will prevent me from being able to enter the event?
A: Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or higher will not be permitted into the festival. We will also provide information on local COVID-19 testing facilities so you can get properly diagnosed.

Q: Will you provide refunds if we fail the temperature reading?
A: Yes.
